A COMMITTEE of colored men have called a State Convention of their race in Mississippi, to meet on the 31st of March, to appoint delegates to a Na- National Colored Men's Convention. The benefit of political organizations of col- colored people, on the basis of race, is doubtful; but if a color line issue is in- insisted upon, the whites are strong enough in numbers and resources to take care of themselves.
